One of the most iconic dinosaurs of the Mesozoic, Dromaeosauridae (AKA Raptors) were fast-moving, carnivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Cretaceous.  With their delicate bones and possible flight abilities, it's speculated that Dromaeosauridae are closely related to modern birds.
