The Triceratops is one of the most iconic dinosaurs of the Mesozoic, though it was also one of the last to appear in the Cretaceous fossil record, just two million years before the K/Pg extinction event. This specimen is a real Triceratops frill fossil from the Hell Creek formation in South Dakota, over 66 million years old!
